Regarding the course distance, we completely understand how frustrating it can feel when you’re pushing hard towards what you expect to be the finish. The start and finish location is positioned as far up the road as we can safely go, based on traffic management, safety planning and permissions. Safety always has to come first, even when it limits flexibility with exact placement. That said, we do take course accuracy seriously and will continue to review measurement and layout options within those safety constraints for future editions.
