Introducing a brand new winter race brought to you by RTC Events and JBR Run & Tri Club. The Tabor Farms Winter 10km delivers everything a winter runner loves: crisp country air, open farmland views, firm tracks, quiet lanes, and that unmistakable winter atmosphere that makes a race feel special.

Whether you’re sharpening up for the Rochford Half Marathon, chasing a PB, or simply want a brilliant winter challenge with a quality medal waiting for you at the finish, this event has you covered.

Course Description

The 10km route loops around Sutton & Shopland before taking in Barling, Wakering and the surrounding farmland, offering a fast, flowing circuit with virtually no elevation. Expect a blend of country lanes, smooth farm tracks and open road stretches where you can settle into your rhythm and enjoy the winter conditions. The course is suitable for runners of mixed abilities, with a generous 2-hour cut-off time.

Race Numbers & Timing

• Race numbers are collected on the morning of the event
• Registration and baggage drop will be located inside the Redbrick Barn at Tabor Farms
• Chip timing is included
• Results will be posted online shortly after the race finishes
